# CollieDesk > CollieDesk is an open-source (AGPL-3.0) helpdesk for small support teams by HC Labs: the open-source alternative to Freshdesk, Zendesk and Help Scout. Leave Freshdesk with all your data. AI that actually answers tickets is included, not an add-on. Flat price, no per-agent fees. Cloud: $10 per workspace per month ($100 per year). Self-host free. Status: pre-alpha (v0.1). Every page has a Markdown twin: add `.md` to the URL (the home page is https://colliedesk.com/index.md). Each page says what the feature does, how to use it, and its limits. - [Install and create a workspace](https://colliedesk.com/docs/install.md): CollieDesk runs as one server plus PostgreSQL. Requirements: Docker with Compose v2. - [Sign in without passwords](https://colliedesk.com/docs/sign-in.md): CollieDesk has no passwords. You sign in with a one-time link. - [Invite your team](https://colliedesk.com/docs/invites.md): Admins invite people from Settings → Invites. - [Work the inbox](https://colliedesk.com/docs/inbox.md): The inbox has three panes: the conversation list on the left, the timeline in the middle with the composer below it, and conversation details on the right. - [Email channel](https://colliedesk.com/docs/email-channel.md): Customers write to your support address. Each new email thread becomes a conversation, and the sender becomes a contact. Customer replies join the same conversation. Your replies go back to the customer by email. Private notes are never emailed. - [Tags](https://colliedesk.com/docs/tags.md): Tags group conversations, for example billing or bug. - [Timezones](https://colliedesk.com/docs/timezones.md): CollieDesk stores every time in UTC and shows it in your timezone. - [Sessions and devices](https://colliedesk.com/docs/sessions.md): Settings → Sessions lists every browser or client signed in to your account, with when it was created and last used. - [Import from Freshdesk](https://colliedesk.com/docs/import-freshdesk.md): colliedesk import freshdesk copies a Freshdesk account into a CollieDesk workspace through the Freshdesk API. It ends with a reconcile report that compares what Freshdesk holds with what CollieDesk now holds. If anything is missing, the report says FAILED and lists the Freshdesk ids. If the totals could not be confirmed, it says UNVERIFIED. Both end with a non-zero exit code. Run the same command again to retry: finished items are never copied twice.
